Step into my studio on Vashon Island and you’ll find stacks of hand-drawn prints, a mug of coffee cooling beside a cutting mat, and—more often than not—a sketch or two in progress inspired by the sea.
This tall ship print is one of my favorite pieces. It was born from hours of pen and ink work, referencing historic sailing vessels and vintage maritime maps. The texture of the waves and the tension in the sails were all about capturing motion—of sea, wind, and time.
Every print is hand-signed and produced on archival paper. What you’re holding here is more than decoration—it's a piece of a story. Of exploration. Of craftsmanship. Of reverence for the past and care for the present.
I hope this piece brings that same sense of wonder to your walls that I feel every time I sit down to draw.
